A few months ago, we got to ride Josh Creamer's Monster Energy KXF450 and we were impressed. So we weren't surprised when he won the first moto of the MX Sports ATVA National at Glen Helen, California. Right after the race, we got Creamer's ATV into the photo studio for a thorough inspection of the machine.
Pro Circuit and Team Green build Creamer's motor, starting with the stock cases and head, as required by the rules. The ECU is Kawasaki's adjustable unit available through any Kawasaki dealer. The mapping is customized to match the motor work and the Pro Circuit Ti-4 exhaust.
The Fuel Customs Airbox is critical to unplug the stock Kawasaki motor. A K&N air filter and Outerwears prefilter feed the beast.
Kawasaki has a kickstarter kit available through dealers. On the race bikes, the electric start is removed for weight loss. Creamer recently started using the Hinson BTL (Slipper) clutch and loves it.
All the protection is from DG Performance. That includes Race Pegs, Nerf Bars, National II Bumper and National Grab Bar
Fox Float X Evol Front Shocks and Walsh Flow A-Arms work the front end. Douglas Ultimate SC Wheels are used with ITP Holeshot Tires.
GPR supplies the steering damper.
A Fox Podium X Rear Shock handles the rear suspension duty with a Walsh swingarm.
The PWR radiator has a custom oil cooler added.
Streamline Performance Braking Braided Lines are used with an RK/Exel Chain and Renthal sprockets. Team Green machines material off the brake caliper to save weight.
Creamer lowers the subframe to bring down the center of gravity.
