POLARIS CHOOSES RYDEFX AS OE SHOCK ABSORBERS ON THE 2007 OUTLAW AND 2007 POLARIS PREDATOR HIGH PERFORMANCE ATV'S

Toronto, ON (August 17, 2006) – RydeFX – an ArvinMeritor brand today announced that Polaris has chosen RydeFX shock absorbers as original equipment on the 2007 Outlaw and 2007 Predator High Performance ATV's.

The RydeFX SOLO will be the original equipment rear shock absorbers on the 2007 Polaris Outlaw 500 and Outlaw 525 High Performance ATVs, while the front shocks absorbers will be RydeFX high pressure gas aluminium body monotube shock absorbers.  The RydeFX SOLO is a 7 position compression adjustable, high pressure gas, aluminium body monotube shock absorber.  This shock absorber uses through-the-rod compression adjustment for a compact, lightweight package that conforms to the changing terrain.  It utilizes RydeFX Slide™ which is a semi-synthetic oil uniquely formulated and patented to provide superior wear protection to vital internal shock components, and greater resistance to fluid viscosity breakdown.

The RydeFX MPV is a twintube shock absorber that uses a patented Low Fade Orifice Carrier to provide the rider with a seamless transition from a smooth low speed ride, to firm, well-controlled performance oriented handling.  The RydeFX MPV also uses RydeFX Slide™ semi-synthetic oil.  The RydeFX MPV will be the original equipment front shock absorbers on the 2007 Polaris Predator 500 High Performance ATV.
