RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR GS 8 HOUR ENDURANCE RACE SERIES
Round #2
RACE STARTS AT 7:30am May 2 – ENDS AT 3:30pm Bikes
RACE STARTS AT 7:30am May 3 – ENDS AT 3:30pm ATV/UTV’s

Mandatory Riders Meeting @ 7am
PLEASE READ
PITS & BIKE EXCHANGE:
Located in Amateur Pit area by scoring. Impound is located at the beginning of
The pits by the finish line. Scoring will be at the Finish Line EZ UP. NO ONE IS
ALOUD TO BE IN THE IMPOUND AREA EXCEPT THE RIDER CHANGING
BIKES. DO NOT RIDE THROUGH THE PIT AREA IF YOU ARE NOT CHANGING
BIKES (you will be penalized)
*Allowed what will fit in your assigned pit location -
*YOU MUST ONLY USE THE ALLOWED AREA. You may camp in your pit area. .
*Riders may pit or change riders at any time. You can only change riders in your pit
area.
* You must work on bikes at your pit location not in impound.
* SPEED LIMIT MANDATORY at 5 MPH IN PITS. If you exceed the speed limit you
may be disqualified or penalized time.
Riders will be penalized for cutting the course and/or for going to fast in the pits. They
will be held
At a penalty box located by the scoring area. The time infraction will depend on how
much time was gained.
• Overnight Camping if Free
• Gates Open Friday from 3pm-10pm
IMPOUND:
*All Teams may use up to 4 bikes/ATV’s/UTV’s. 4 Riders max on a
team– All machines remain in impound at all times except the one you are racing.
*ALL TEAMS MUST HAVE SAME TEAM NUMBER ON BOTH BIKES, FRONT &
RIGHT AT THE VERY LEAST!
* All machines must be in impound at all times except the one you are racing.
* You and your team may not work on the bike in the impound area.
WATER AND TRACK
*We will have water trucks throughout the race track watering.
*If you see a quad or UTV with a yellow Flagg waving water truck is ahead please
proceed with caution
*The course consists of several different terrains etc. Please be careful the first lap to
learn the track
SCORING AND REGISTRATION:
* You can preregister online at www.grindingstonemx.com
*All Riders must register/check in at the Registration table.
Top 3 finishers in each class will get Trophies

$175.00 pre $200.00 Post 8 hour Per Team
$100.00 pre $125.00 Post Ironman
GS ENDURANCE SERIES POINT SYSTEM
Rider of record carries the points from each round. The rider of record is determined by
team. The rider of record can add riders for each event, as long as the riders are in the
same riding classification, they signed-up in.
The class winners are determined by the highest amount of points they received over the
3 race series. You must race all three rounds to be considered an over all winner. The
final round, 10 hours of GS, is for double points. See Point system online.
