Brian Fisher, honcho of the nationally-syndicated TV show, “Fisher’s ATV World,” accepted the Jungle Challenge, filming the adventure for this popular program. Final footage shows ATVers winching along steep, slippery jungle trails, fording waist-deep rain-swollen tropical rivers, cruising past sparkling waterfalls . . . spotting iguanas, howler monkeys, toucans and other tropical birds in the rain forests . . . climbing through the cloud forests to volcanic peaks . . .
Besides varied and challenging ATV riding, the “Challenge” includes “zip-line” cable traverses, between volcanic mountain ridges, hundreds of yards above valley floors. A raft float trip down the San Carlos River, through a lush, green rain forest, teeming with wildlife, occupies one afternoon of the trial.
