2011 SUZUKI QUADSPORT Z50 (2009 model, $1899)

Suzuki’s little 50 might well be the perfect machine for the beginning quad rider. It’s rated Y6, which means your kid can eat it whole and probably get more nutrition than from Captain Crunch. It has a throttle limiter as well as electronically limited top speed. A tether allows an energetic father to chase his kid and pull the plug at the appropriate time.
