2011 CAN-AM OUTLANDER 400/400XT ($6799/$7849)

This Outlander is built around a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that is said to produce 32 horsepower. It has a chassis similar to that of the 500, which uses MacPherson struts up front and Can-Am’s Torsional Trailing Arm Independent rear suspension. The XT version gets cast alloy wheels and a 3000-pound winch.
