At the 2017 Polaris UTV and ATV introduction near Great Falls, Montana, the most sought after seat in the house was the all-new Ace 900 XC. There was only one drivable example, so our time in the machine was short, but worth the wait. Compared to past Aces, the 900 XC is six inches longer and 11 inches wider and approximately three inches more suspension travel. This is a small, compact, single-seat UTV, and it has specs very close to the Polaris RZR 900 S, but it weighs 200 pounds less!
As you can imagine, it scampers. A 59-inch car never felt so wide and stable, and roughly 12.5 inches of suspension travel never felt so good. We can’t wait to get some real time in this $12,999 car.
Ace 570 SP
We got to spend a great deal more time in the new $9,999 A-arm front suspension Ace 570 SP. It shares approximately the same specs as the previous MacPherson strut machines, but the new machine has vastly better suspension. That makes the machine a lot more fun. At 48 inches wide, this is as nimble as UTVs get.
