We all love to get away from it all and ride epic trails while scoping out some amazing scenery. There are a multitude of jamborees or events that you can partake in, but you may ask, which one will work best for your family? We’ve compiled a list of great events across the country that you can choose from, with different scenery, terrain and planned ride days that will make for a great time!
1.) TRI-STATE JAMBOREE LOCATION: HURRICANE, UTAH DATE: MARCH 8-11TH, 2017

The Tri-State Jamboree is a three-day guided trail adventure on 21 different trails in southern Utah, eastern Nevada and northern Arizona. Your machine must be trailered to the beginning of all rides. Every ride is a blast, ranging from beginner to advanced skill levels. Some of the more notable sites are near Zion National Park and Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Some trails are for machines 50 inches wide and less, but UTVs are welcome. Meals are included with registration: full breakfast, ice-cream social and a Dutch-oven dinner. There is an ongoing ATV expo at the local park to visit. The jamboree is restricted to 550 riders max per year. Hurricane and St. George, Utah, have several options for camping, hotels and motels.
2.) HIGH LIFTER MUD NATIONALS LOCATION: JACKSONVILLE, TEXAS DATE: MARCH 22-26TH, 2017

High Lifter hosts the biggest ATV/UTV mud festival known only as the Mud Nationals. This five-day event is located at the Mud Creek Off-Road Park and offers fun for everyone. Events include open trail rides, poker runs and a show-and-shine contest. They also have epic competitive events that include Mudda-Cross, a mud bog, an endurance challenge, an obstacle course and am MX race. There is also a BBQ cook-off and nightly concerts. You’ll see some of the most unique ATVs and UTVs in the world and the rowdy people that pilot them at this event. There are options for dry camping for RVs or other options available.
3.) WINDROCK PARK SPRING JAMBOREE LOCATION: OLIVER SPRINGS, TENNESSEE DATE: APRIL 20-22ND, 2017

The Windrock Park Spring Jamboree has over 300 miles of trails available for riders of all skill levels. The first ride kicks off with a Thursday-evening sunset ride. The other activities for the weekend include guided rides, an ATV rodeo, drag races, kids’ adventure, shooting area, vendors, demo rides, bonfires and a cook-out. There is also an open-cross-style race for ATVs and UTVs. The fan-favorite event, the Windrock Challenge Obstacle Course, can be entered as a competition, or it is open prior to the competition just for the person who wants the challenge without competing head to head. Located within the park are fully furnished two-story cabins, rustic one-room cabins, RV sites with full hookups and tent camping sites.
4.) UTV RALLY AT MORMON LAKE LODGE LOCATION: MORMON LAKE LODGE, ARIZONA DATE: MAY 4-7TH, 2017

The second annual UTV Rally at Mormon Lake Lodge is primed and ready for another great year. This event is located near Flagstaff, Arizona, and offers great rides and events. Some of the happenings include obstacle courses, Can-Am demo rides and multiple guided rides that will happen throughout the weekend. There will also be a large vendor area where you can check out some of the new products these companies offer. There will be camping and hotels available.
5.) RALLY ON THE ROCKS LOCATION: MOAB, UTAH, DATE: MAY 16-20TH, 2017
COST PER RIDER: PRICES VARY PER RIDE, KIDS 11 YEARS AND UNDER ARE FREE
The Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks in Moab, Utah, is one of the most epic events you can attend. ROTR has four days of guided rides that will allow you to explore the vast area. Most of the riding is done in the beautiful red rock of Moab, which may be one of few places in the world that you’re allowed to drive on this type of terrain legally. Each night there is a slide show of the day’s events, a dinner, ice-cream social, a bonfire and raffles. Other activities include a show-and-shine contest, extreme trail riding, free demo rides and much more. The event headquarters is at the Old Spanish Trail Arena.
Note: ATVs are not allowed. Your machine must have a roll cage and steering wheel. Moab, Utah, is loaded with rental outfits, hotels, RV camping and tent camping areas.
6.) MEMORIAL WEEKEND ATV/UTV RALLY LOCATION: HURLEY, WISCONSIN DATE: MAY 25-28TH, 2017

For 32 years the annual Memorial Weekend ATV/UTV Rally has welcomed thousands of ATV and UTV riders. The ATV parade takes place at 6 p.m. on Friday in Hurley. Saturday’s events include a poker run, mud pit, live entertainment and more. There are also breakfast, lunch and dinner specials; buffets; and cookouts. The county also has 200 miles of routes and trails available. Scenic areas include waterfalls, views of Lake Superior, the Penokee Mountains and more. There are several camping areas and hotels to stay at near the event.
7.) WHITE KNUCKLE EVENT LOCATION: HUNTSVILLE, TENNESEE DATE: MAY 27-29TH, 2017

The White Knuckle Event, or the “Woodstock” of ATV/UTV events, is the first major event that Brimstone Recreation Area hosts. The event commences on Friday with guided trail rides throughout the day and the Ritchie Brothers Ultimate Dueling Drag Race. You and your posse can take advantage of 300-plus miles of trails to fill out your days while enjoying top country artists belting out their hits at night. Another fan-favorite activity is the geo-cache hunt called the Wild Mountain Rampage. Brimstone offers cabins, RV spots and campgrounds to help accommodate your stay.
8.) QUADNA MUD NATIONALS NORTH LOCATION: HILL CITY, MINNESOTA DATE: JUNE 9-11TH 2016

The Quadna Mud Nationals is High Lifter’s second event of the year. This event takes place at the Quadna Mountain Ski Resort in Hill City, Minnesota. Here you will find yourself doing activities such as mud bogs, obstacle courses and power runs. Along with that, the terrain in Hill City is quite different than the Mud Nationals in Jacksonville, Texas, so trail riding is more abundant. Lodging is nearby. Other options include apartment or condo rentals.
9.) UTV TAKEOVER LOCATION: COOS BAY, OREGON DATE: JUNE 14-18TH, 2017

The UTV Takeover is a great event in the sand dune area of Coos Bay, Oregon. Activities include a benefit raffle, daytime group rides, night rides, Late-for-a-Date Challenge, Farmer’s Dash, drag races, longest jump, Blind Bandit, nighttime barrel racing and a treasure hunt. The best part about the UTV Takeover is that registration is free, unless you want the VIP ticket, which includes a goody bag for $35. There are several ways to camp at this event—in the dunes or close to the event.
10.) BLACK HILLS ATV/UTV RALLY LOCATION: NEMO, SOUTH DAKOTA DATE: JUNE 16-18TH, 2017

The Black Hills Rally is a great place to ride in Nemo, South Dakota. If you arrive early on Thursday, you are welcomed to go to the local Nemo Mercantile for beverages. The rest of the weekend’s events include riding the trails all day long, food being served from local hot spots, live music in the evening, a tiki bar and vendors will be running all day. There are several camping areas near the event.
11.) THRILLS IN THE HILLS LOCATION: BURNING ROCK, WEST VIRGINIA DATE: JUNE 16-18TH, 2017

Thrills in the Hills is an off-road festival that highlights all the good fixin’s that West Virginia has to offer—riding, racing, mudding and hanging with your buds. Events like poker runs, mud bogs, hill-climbs and drag racing are the highlights of the festival. Other options of fun include a kids’ zone and a zip-line adventure. One night is capped off with an after-dark trail ride, and the other nights have firework shows. Primitive camping is available.
12.) NATIONAL ATV/UTV JAMBOREE LOCATION: FILLMORE, UTAH DATE: JUNE 20-24TH, 2017

The National ATV/UTV Jamboree is one of the longest-running ATV jamborees in the world. It takes place in or around the Pahvant Mountain Range, east of Fillmore or on the West Desert. You can enjoy six days of guided rides with over 20 routes to choose from on the world-famous Paiute trail system. The skill levels range from beginner to advanced. Some of the most popular rides include an all-female ride, night rides and an overnight campout. Other great activities include a poker run, ATV/UTV drag races, mud bogs, ATV/UTV pulls, ATV/UTV triathlon, car show and burnout contest. They only take the first 400 registered riders, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible. There is great camping, in addition to hotels and motels, in Fillmore and surrounding areas.

The ATV Ride Up Mount Washington gives you a unique view of one of the most visited natural sites in the Northeast. The New Hampshire ATV Club has this ride one day out of the year. You’ll be able to take in the beauty of this part of the country aboard your machine. The ride takes place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The speeds must be kept under 25 mph, which allows you to take in the scenic vistas. Once the ride is over, the nearby town also welcomes you to ride the trail system known as Ride the Wilds. The nearby town has several accommodations for you and your crew to stay.
