2004 RACE SCHEDULES–NOV 18

New on the Dirt Wheels racing calendar this year is the NQRA. From the same folks who bring you the Virginia Beach race every spring, the NQRA is branching out with a full season of racing. To start off the year, round one will take place during Daytona’s Bike Week and it will finish off on Labor Day weekend in Georgia. The schedule will run up and down the east coast with plans of expanding to a “national” series within a few years.

“NQRA will put the fun back in racing ATVs again, something that’s been missing for the last several years” says NQRA president Randy Dinkins. “We will be pushing hard for participation in the youth classes and rewarding the amateurs. In the NQRA, the members, the riders, own the association. Here, the riders make the decisions, not the promoters and OEMs. We’re here for the riders and their happiness is what it’s all about!” says Dinkins.
