BUSTED NUTZ ATV/UTV JAMBOREE MAY 27TH-28TH 2023
WHERE TO RIDE THIS WEEKEND: COLLINS MISSOURI
The Ozarks have a new off-road riding park in central Missouri; Busted Nutz is a 300-acre ride park with rock trails, and they’re holding an ATV/UTV/4×4 and dirt bike jamboree over Memorial Day weekend. The jamboree will have a scavenger hunt on trails, obstacle course, mud bog, tug-of-war, 50-50 pot, and a concert with the Ozark Outlaws. They’re also planning similar events for July 4th and Labor Day weekends.
Dirt Wheels stopped by Busted Nutz to check it out, and there were UTV enthusiasts hitting the trails. Busted Nutz bought properties starting in the summer of 2022 and have 300 acres of woods riding and free primitive camping. Drivers and riders are $20 a day, and passengers are $10 a day.
Currently, they have a pro shop with T-shirts and refreshments, and they’re converting horse stalls to showers and cabins. They’re also putting in RV slots with hook-ups, a restaurant and community center, and they have food trucks on weekends.
ATV and bike riders need to bring helmets and helmets are recommended for driving UTVs on trails. Participants in jamboree competitions will have to wear helmets. Busted Nutz has two Facebook pages for more up-to-date information and is on Google Maps. Busted Nutz opens Fridays at 10:00AM and closes Sunday at dusk, and those interested in visiting Mondays through Thursdays should call to set up appointments.
