APRIL FOOL FEST
All-new ATVs from Segway
APRIL FOOL FEST
Segway surprised us with their introduction of two all-new UTVs and a line of 4×4 ATV models. The new Segway Snarler 570 comes in a hybrid rendition called the 570AH, which sports a 570cc single-cylinder engine pumping out 86 horsepower.
The electric Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor acts as an extra boost of power during acceleration and ramp-up with the aid of a 20C high-rate battery. The quad has four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes, an engine braking system, and Beadlock wheels in stock trim as a 2-up seating configuration.

What is just as impressive is the Snarler 1000AF that delivers 107-horsepower! That is more ponies than any current major manufacturer ATV in production and a first in the 4×4 department. A 1000cc 4-stroke parallel twin-cylinder, DOHC engine gets the power out through a Continuously Variable automatic Transmission.
Their Snarler line all come with independent suspension front and rear, have mobile phone connectivity, and three electronic power steering modes to choose from. The front differential is claimed to be lockable with easily switchable modes for the rear differential as well. This could be the most technologically advanced ATV to hit the market.
Once Segway figures out when they want to release their new machines to the market, we will be first in line to snap up a Snarler and give it a proper test session. 107-horsepower is more than enough for almost any rider, which is quite exciting.
