FIRST WAVE OF 2024 SUZUKI ATVs
The KingQuad 400, QuadSport Z90 and QuadSport Z50 return By the staff of Dirt Wheels

Suzuki Motor USA recently announced the return of the 2024 KingQuad 400 sport utility ATVs, along with the QuadSport Z90 and Z50 youth sport models. These vehicles are designed to provide an exceptional riding experience for both ATV enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. They boast excellent engineering, reliable quality and unbeatable value. While information on the larger KingQuad 500 and 750 lineup wasn’t available at the time of print, Suzuki has assured us that both models will also be returning to dealerships in 2024. Check DirtWheelsMag.com for more information as it becomes available.

KINGQUAD 400 ASi
Assembled at Suzuki Manufacturing of America, Inc. in Rome, Georgia, the KingQuad 400 ASi packs an entry-level, 376cc, four-stroke, air-cooled, EFI engine with a reputation for reliability and easy maintenance. The Suzuki Quadmatic transmission is a fully automatic CVT with high- and low-range forward gears and reverse. Switching between 2WD and 4WD is completed with a manual lever mounted on the handlebars.
Dual-A-arm front suspension is fitted with oil-damped shocks supplying 6.7 inches of front-wheel travel. At the rear, a swingarm receives twin oil-damped shock absorbers, providing 6.7 inches of wheel travel—the KingQuad 400 rides on steel wheels mounted with Carlisle 25-inch all-terrain tires. Ground clearance is just under 10 inches.

KINGQUAD 400 FSi
If you’re not a fan of the belt-driven CVT, Suzuki offers the KingQuad with a 5-speed manual-shift automatic transmission and a semi-automatic clutch. “FS” stands for “foot-shift,” as shifting is completed like a traditional motorcycle. The transmission also has reverse, and a high/low sub-transmission provides versatile performance for both work and trail use.
Other features are identical to the KingQuad ASi. It’s offered in the Terra Green or Flame Red color, but the FSi does not come in SE Camo trim. The KingQuad 400 ASi and FSi are unavailable for sale in California due to California Air Resource Board (CARB) OHV regulations.

QUADSPORT Z90
If you’re looking for an ATV that’s perfect for young riders, you’ll want to check out the 2024 Suzuki QuadSport Z90. It’s designed to give kids an immersive and enjoyable riding experience while helping them improve their abilities as their riding skills progress.
Designed for ages 12 and up, the Z90 comes with a 90cc, air-cooled four-stroke engine that’s as easy to maintain as it is to ride. A 1.6-gallon fuel tank is large enough for extended supervised trail rides. The Z90 has several parental controls, like a keyed ignition, a speed-limiting clutch collar that governs top speed to 15mph, and a throttle-limiter screw on the thumb throttle to limit power delivery. The clutch collar can be removed as skills progress, and the throttle limiter screw can be dialed out for increased performance.
The Z90 comes with an electric starter and a recoil backup starter. The engine is mated with a CVT automatic transmission, so new riders can focus on the trail ahead rather than shifting. The 19-inch tires are mounted on 8-inch aluminum wheels and slowed with drum brakes. The Z90 comes in Champion Yellow with a 12-month factory warranty (longer terms available for purchase).
2024 Suzuki QuadSport Z90: $3,199

QUADSPORT Z50
While similar in appearance to the Z90, the Z50 is a smaller ATV for riders ages 6 and older. It features a 49cc engine and CVT automatic transmission for an easy ride. This model comes with parental controls, including a keyed ignition, a throttle limiter screw that can dial acceleration to a crawl, and a remote tether engine kill switch so parents can shut down the machine should their child get out of control.
Seat height is manageable for small riders at just 21 inches. Single-A-arm front suspension is fitted with oil-damped coil-over shocks, and the rear swingarm gets a single shock. At just 174 pounds wet, the Z90 is controllable and comfortable for small riders. Full footwells keep small motocross boots well protected with steel-tube bracing beneath. The Z50 comes in Champion Yellow with a 12-month factory warranty (extended terms available for purchase). The QuadSport Z90 and Z50 are California green-sticker-legal and ready for sale in all 50 states.
