LETTERS: CHECK OUT NIGEL MALONE’S HONDA TRX250R
Dear Dirt Wheels,
It all started back in about 1993 when I was camping and quad riding with my family and other families. There was one particular family we camped with, and all four of them had Honda TRX250Rs. Ever since I first laid eyes on those machines, I knew I had to have one. Unfortunately, my dad always deemed them too dangerous, so he never allowed me to get one. However, once I turned 18 in 2003, I finally found an opportunity and bought one without hesitation (Dad couldn’t say no anymore, ha ha). To this day, I still own that quad, although I don’t ride it as much as before. The thought of selling it has never crossed my mind.
Over the years I’ve taken it to Idaho a few times, explored the local sand dunes near Hinton, Alberta, Canada, countless times, and ventured on numerous trails throughout the mountains in Alberta.

Nigel,
Who doesn’t love the TRX250R? That’s a great build you have. We also spent some time this morning checking out the dunes and trails all around your home town on Google Earth. We need to get up that way for a ride! – Dirt Wheels
