PRODUCT TEST:
PJ1 FILTER CLEANER & OIL
Making it easy By the staff of Dirt Wheels
PJ1 FILTER OIL
While it isn’t really that gross of a task, we rate the fun factor of cleaning air filters right at the level of changing poopy diapers. These diapers don’t take as long. In our eternal search for ways to make air filter maintenance easier, we have come to embrace PJ1’s aerosol filter cleaner and spray filter oil. Both do a great job to minimize mess and keep the inside of your engine happy.
IT’S EASY

PJ1 FILTER OIL
The whole point is, using PJ1 products makes a dirty job a lot cleaner. You are no longer using heavy, sticky oil, and if you stick with the two paired PJ1 air cleaner products, there is never any reason to use solvent to clean filters. The cleaner and water, even cold water, handle the task just fine.

We have found that the cleaner does not go as far as the oil. We use about two cans of cleaner to one of filter oil. When used as directed, the oil does a great job keeping dirt from getting through the filter. Cleanup is quick and easy.
PJ1 sells both products together as a foam filter care kit for $24.98. The foam air filter oil alone is $14.41 for 13 ounces. The air filter cleaner runs for $13.19 for 15 ounces. That pricing is reasonable, but the primary reason we choose PJ1 for air cleaner service is for its ease and convenience. Check
