PROJECT YAMAHA YFZ450R

By the staff of Dirt Wheels PROJECT YAMAHA YFZ450R We are fortunate enough to find ourselves around some of the most epic ATV builds in the business, and this Baja Yamaha YFZ450R is one for our record books. Pro-Am WORCS racer Ricardo Gonzalez wanted to switch gears and race the wilds of Baja Mexico with his team. They needed a machine built to handle a ton of abuse and last for hundreds of miles in the many different conditions that the course throws at the team. HONDA 450R TRAIL MASTER

By the staff of Dirt Wheels HONDA 450R TRAIL MASTER It is no secret that we are huge fans of the Honda TRX450R. TWO-STROKE YFZ300 Gerald Tramble is a Dirt Wheels reader who lives in France. Just like many of us in the USA, he has a strong passion for ATV racing. ATV motocross is very popular in Europe too. As expected, Yamaha's YFZ450 is a machine many Europeans choose to race. For Gerald though, he wanted his YFZ to have a two-stroke power plant. So, he set out to remove the 450 4-stroke engine and replace it with something else. TWO-STROKE YFZ300 KTM is a company that still puts two-stroke engines into a lot of its dirt bikes.…
