FIRST LOOK: MORE 2021 KAWASAKI SPORT UTVs

KRX e-suspension and wider, longer-travel Teryxs By the staff of Dirt Wheels Kawasaki has already announced a full 2021 lineup without hinting that more updated UTV models were coming. We don’t mind the secrecy, since the “Green Machine” has been hiding welcome additions. The new and latest variation of Kawasaki’s Teryx KRX 1000 line is the Teryx KRX 1000 eS. We are happy to say that the principle feature of the KRX eS is Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension (KECS) featuring Fox 2.5 Live Valve internal bypass…

McGRATH’S KRX 1000 KOH PRE-RUNNER

By Staff of DIRT WHEELS McGRATH’S  KRX 1000 KOH PRE-RUNNER. Few people would question Jeremy McGrath’s dedication as a racer. His Supercross career is unrivaled with two 125cc SX championships and a championship—the first of eight—in his rookie year in the 250cc (then the Premier class) class. Some of our staff watched as he attempted the nation’s toughest motorcycle hill-climb in Billings, Montana, where he missed winning the event by one-tenth of a second riding borrowed bikes he had never sat on before. In another…

2020 KAWASAKI TERYX KRX 1000

By the staff of Dirt Wheels 2020 KAWASAKI TERYX KRX 1000 Kawasaki has a rich tradition of building ultra-high-performance motorcycles. Conversely, despite the longest UTV history of any Japanese manufacturer, Kawasaki has not been on the cutting edge of UTV performance. Sure, the original Teryx was a genuine sporting unit when it was first introduced, but as the years passed, it slipped farther below the performance pinnacle. Now there is the 2020 Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000—a true, modern performance UTV. It checks…

FIRST RIDE: KAWASAKI TERYX KRX 1000

By the staff of Dirt Wheels FIRST RIDE: KAWASAKI TERYX KRX 1000 We have been anxiously waiting for our turn behind the wheel of the recently announced Teryx KRX 1000. Kawasaki produced a remarkable desert test course for the drive. Thankfully, it wasn’t a fluffy, kiddy track, but one with fast smooth sections where we almost tick the governed top speed of 68 mph indicated. A variety of stunning steep and rocky climbs and descents were added to the real terrain. There were a number of tight, twisty areas, and some were…
