King of the Hammers is a unique event that combines elements of desert racing with rock crawling.  The punishing 143-mile course consisted of high-speed lake beds, rollercoaster-like roads, and some of the hardest rock crawling canyons in the world.  “We had very few issues, we got out of the car a couple of times but nothing major,” Haines shared at the finish line.…

Now, AMS has introduced the new M4 Evil tires with a tread design that resembles an off-road truck tire. These pieces of rolling rubber should be pretty popular everywhere, but particularly west of the Mississippi. AMS sent them wrapped around their impressive all-new Roll’n 106…

CT POLARIS RZR 4 DYNAMIX

-- A desert wagon made to drive hard -- By the staff of Dirt Wheels Allen Knowles is the owner of CT Racing, and he has managed something extraordinary. No, we aren’t talking about this cool four-seat desert monster he built. He’s managed to find a wife who still likes to get out and hit trails in a rowdy UTV. Roxanne can navigate, feed the crew, or drive the dually and the trailer. Even more, she can stand to be a passenger when “Crazy Al” is driving. We’ll admit, we will only ride with him when the alternative is…

UTAH NO LONGER HONORING OUT OF STATE OHV REGISTRATION

The state of Utah will no longer be honoring off-highway vehicle registrations from any other states beginning on Jan. 1, 2020. In past years, Utah has had standing agreements with some other states to honor each other’s OHV registration. This meant that visitors to Utah who had OHVs registered in states like Nevada were not required to obtain a nonresident user permit or pay a nonresident fee. In the 2019 General Session, the Utah Legislature passed H.B. 105, which removed this option from future use. This means…
