The Longest Off-Road Race in the United States


Register for your media credentials now – The TSCO “Vegas to Reno” race is less than a month away. And with the inclusion of all of the Best In The Desert Racing Association classes for Motorcycles, Quads, UTVs, Cars and Trucks, this will easily be the BIGGEST RACE of the 2007 season! Don’t miss out on your opportunity to cover this historical event. To register for your credentials, use the included form or go to and download a credential form. Print it out and fax it back, or email back. We’ll get you signed up. Then all you have to do is stop by our booth at contingency/registration and pick up your credentials packet, which includes an event souvenir t-shirt and event decal.


Contingency is set for Thursday, August 23rd at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada (9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South). The race will start in Johnnie, Nevada, just north of Pahrump, early Friday morning, the 24th of August. The TSCO “Vegas to Reno” race takes competitors from the high desert floor at 2,500 feet elevation to mountainous heights of over 9,000 feet. Plan your coverage accordingly as this is an extremely fast paced race. Estimated race times for the overall leaders are as follows:


                                        Motorcycles – 10 hours

                                                Quads – 11 hours

                                                UTVs – 18 hours

                                                Cars & Trucks – 11 hours
