Representing the United States at the 2024 Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Quadcross of Nations in the Czech Republic will be Ford Brothers Racing/FXR/SSi Decals/CST’s Bryce Ford, Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Joel Hetrick and Westland Motorsports/JH Racing/Goldspeed Tires/PEP/Musick Racing’s Brandon Hoag. The trio will attempt to secure the AMA U.S. ATV Motocross Team’s sixth title since 2017 on September 28-29.

Ford, currently ranked second in this year’s AMA Pro ATV Motocross National Championship, will represent the AMA U.S. ATV Motocross Team for the third time at the international competition.

“I’m honored to go overseas and represent the USA this year in Czech,” said Ford. “I have been fortunate enough to represent our country on the world level the last two years, and it has been nothing short of incredible. I’m really looking forward to riding with Joel [Hetrick] and Brandon [Hoag]. I think this will be the best year yet, because it is a FIM World Championship. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone over there in September.”

Hetrick, a veteran on the team, will contest for the fifth time. The four-time AMA Pro ATV Motocross National Championship series champion, who is currently leading the series points, will once again showcase his speed and strategy overseas.

“I am beyond excited and honored to have been chosen for Quadcross of Nations this year,” said Hetrick. “With our stellar team, we are geared up to dominate the competition and bring home the win. I’m proud to represent the United States and am ready to race at this legendary track. Let’s go racing and make our country proud!”

A newcomer to the team, Hoag will compete on international soil for the first time. He’s currently ranked third in the 2024 AMA Pro ATV Motocross National Championship and is eager to support the team’s efforts this year.

“It’s an honor to represent our country and be selected as a rider,” said Hoag. “I look to work hard as a rider and teammate to give us the best finish possible and bring home another victory for the United States.”

Also accompanying the team will be Jody Bateman of JB Racing/88 Live to Ride, who will serve as the crew chief. Harv Whipple will act as the team’s delegate.

Previously announced, Mark Baldwin of Baldwin Motorsports will serve as the team manager.

Ford, Hetrick and Hoag will tackle the Loketské Serpentiny track aboard Yamaha YFZ450R machines in hopes of collecting the FIM World Championship. Yamaha’s commitment, in addition to numerous other sponsors, will aid the team in its efforts.

“Yamaha is honored to continue our support of the U.S. ATV Motocross Team in Quadcross of Nations, especially as we are celebrating the 20th Anniversary YFZ450R’s this year,” said Donnie Luce, Yamaha’s amateur MX, ATV, and Off-Road Coordinator. “We remain confident that Joel, Bryce and Brandon will represent the USA, themselves, team and the YFZ at the highest level.”

This weekend, at the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship round held at Sunset Ridge MX, there will be a limited amount of commemorative military appreciation themed apparel for sale that features the AMA U.S. ATV Motocross Team.

Fundraising will be held throughout the season for the team’s efforts. Pleasure Valley Raceway will start the sale of team apparel, available at the Baldwin Motorsports rig during AMA ATV Motocross National Championship events leading up to the international competition.
