2025 WORCS PROS FACE OFF!

Unpredictable early-round finishes set the stage for a 2025 title war

Beau Baron had all the luck at round 1 in Blythe, California, but still rode like he didn’t need any of it. Defending champion Travis Damon never got out of the starting gate as an engine sensor issue left him dead in the water, and Braxton Grosse would suffer a DNF due to a mechanical problem. It looked as if Baron would build on that lead at round two, seen here taking the holeshot, but fate had other ideas as he blew his engine on the fifth lap.

2025 WORCS PRO ATV

With just two rounds completed, the tension in the ATV Pro class is as high as ever. With mechanical issues disrupting the pace of the usual top contenders at Shorty’s MX Park in Blythe, California, and Honolulu Hills Raceway in Taft, California, Logan Huff is the new name at the top of the championship points race. Yeah, he’s fast! Still, nobody is safe, as it’s way too early for a Pro class prediction with only a 19-point spread between the top four racers.

WORCS round one saw these three top the podium with 44-year-old Beau Baron at the top of the podium on the #549 Honda, #814 Logan Huff in second place on his YFZ, and Lane Fryar completing the podium on the #506 Yamaha.
So far, Logan Huff remains Mr. Consistency with two trouble-free second-place finishes, giving him a six-point advantage in first place over Beau Baron as they head to round three. The additional pro-section at Blythe was brutal!
With a DNS at round 1 due to an engine sensor fault, defending ATV Pro Champion Travis Damon already has ground to make up. He didn’t waste any time earning a win in round two with a two-minute gap over Logan Huff, but he’s got 19 points to make up if he wants to retain that #1 plate.
Beau Baron was leading the Pro ATV class at round two when his engine blew on lap 5. WORCS rules allow getting towed by a fellow racer. Not wanting to risk a DNF, Beau enlisted Kenny Sanford and his #362 Honda for a two-and-a-half lap pull. Baron finished last but salvaged 13 points and a second-place position in championship Pro ATV points.

2025 WORCS PRO-AM ATV

Things are slightly different in the Pro-Am class, with the usual suspects topping the podium at both rounds. Gage Leaver won both rounds, with Eduardo Rojas hanging eight points behind with a second and third-place finish. Daven Desilva has momentum on his side, though. He finished fourth at Blythe but charged hard at Taft and bested Rojas by two and a half minutes.

Gage Leaver won the Pro-Am class at both opening rounds and even ran a fast enough time at round 2 to finish 3rd overall with the top pros.
Daven Desilva and his #523 Yamaha started the season with a fourth-place finish in Blythe but picked up the pace for a second-place podium spot at round two in Taft. He’s trailing Honda rider Eduardo Rojas by just two points in third place.
The 4×4 and Open ATV classes have picked up some steam at WORCS. A few racers run the Polaris Scrambler 1000 S. Paul Merrill consistently runs fast enough in the Open class to qualify for the Pro-Am main event.

2025 WORCS PRO ATV WOMEN

In the Women’s Pro class, the last time defending 2024 Women’s Pro Champion Torey Matajcich settled for anything less than first place was in May 2022. Unfortunately, she broke her upper arm racing her motorcycle ahead of the Women’s Pro ATV race. Layne Fryar claimed wins at both rounds, earning a 10-point lead over Donna Espensen, with Dakota Hibler trailing just two points behind in third. Bailey Baron pulled off a solid second-place finish in round one and was running second place in round two but got struck with a DNF after two laps.

Dakota Hibler, riding her #57 YFZ, has continued to improve with consistent performance. She currently sits third in championship points, with only two points separating her from the second-place Honda ridden by Donna Espensen.
Bailey Baron blazes through the log section in round one to earn second place at Blythe, but a DNF in round two set her back in championship points.

2025 SXS PRO PRODUCTION AND PRO STOCK

Beau Judge continued his win streak in his Can-Am with two trips to the top of the podium in Pro Production, followed by Polaris Driver Paxton Schendel and Braden Judge in his Can-Am. Schendel leads the Pro Stock class with two first-place finishes. Polaris driver Trevor Lee sits second in points with two second-place finishes, and Karsen Sandberg finished third in both rounds in his Polaris.

#1 Beau Judge began the season right where he left off in 2024 – On top of the podium! He won both Pro Production rounds, giving him a solid 50-point lead for the season in championship points.
Paxton Schendel trails Beau Judge in Production Pro by six points with 2nd place finishes at both rounds in the #121 Polaris RZR. Schendel also races the Pro Stock SXS class, where he leads championship points with first-place finishes in both opening rounds.
Trevor Lee survived this wild ride at Taft and secured second-place finishes in Pro Stock in both opening rounds. He trails Paxton Schendel by six championship points with plenty of races left in the series to advance.
