Beau Baron wins Adelanto Grand Prix

Round 1 of the AMA District37 Big6 Grand Prix series started the new year off with it’s legendary Adelanto Grand Prix! This round was held in Adelanto, California from January 15-17. Competition started Friday afternoon with an Unclassified and Pro ATV race. On sunday the ATV’s lined up again to race.  The track consisted of asphalt straight aways, winding desert trails and enduro cross section in the center of the baseball stadium.

The Pro ATV race on Friday consisted of Jeremy Gray in first, Rick Ellsworth in second and Donna Ellsworth in third. Sundays race had a stacked field of ATV’s to compete with Novice, Intermediate, Expert and Vet classes. Taking home the overall win was Beau Baron aboard his Honda TRX450. Finishing in second place was Robbie Cockrell and Cody Moore in third.

Round two of the Big6 Grand Prix Series will be held Feb. 6-7 in Taft, CA.
