JOSH ROW AND CAN-AM TOP BITD VEGAS TO RENO OPEN PROS AND UTVS

The UTV Open Pro Can-Am Maverick R team of Josh Row, Mitchell Alsup, and Preston Axford (Lakeside and Bakersfield, California) ended the Polaris desert  win streak with a win over Max Eddy Junior and Austin Eddy by 65 seconds after 9.5 hours of racing. Third overall UTV was Las Vegas’ Joe Terrana (Can-Am), who finished 42 seconds behind the Eddys on corrected time, to top the UTV Turbo Pros. This was after 555 miles of grueling desert and August heat, so the competition and pace were incredible.

The young team of Dallas Gonzalez (Pol, 18), Ethan Shaw (19), Deegan Gonzalez (13), and Sebastian Marquez (20) was third Open Pro, beating veteran Branden Sims by 1.5 minutes. Short-course champion and Factory Can-Am athlete Cody Miller and Shane Dowden were second Pro Turbo, and the Arizona team of Dan Fisher, Kyle Anderson, Conner Maxwell, and Ernesto Tayler rounded out the Pro Turbo podium.

With a time that would’ve gotten them sixth in Pro Turbos, the Reno team of Zachary Kisman and Tony Bonanno topped the Pro N/A 1000s in a KRX1000, beating the Honda team of Lawrence Janesky and Dustin Gebers by 14+ minutes. The Yamaha YXZ1000R team of Josh Wakeland and Scott MacPhail rounded out the Pro N/A podium.

Can-Am ruled the UTV Super Stock podium with Todd Zuccone posting a 11:55:40.053 and beating his son Jacob by 9 minutes 19 seconds. Less than 2 minutes later, the Hawaiian team of Jesse Sword, Douglas Miller, and Erik Bergmeyer rounded out that podium.

In UTV Sportsman, David Vasas won for Can-Am, with Bruce Raub (Pol) second and William Eisenberg (C-A) third. Jeremy and Justin Davis topped the UTV Super Stock-R class for Can-Am.
