PROJECT MUD MACHINE: Polaris RZR SP 1000 4 “Bulletproof”

We see many incredibly well built machines in our line of work. Desert racers, woods rippers, trick track builds and mud runners are a big part of the collection of specialized and exotic vehicles we put in the pages of Dirt Wheels. We found four such unique machines searching for slop at the 2016 High Lifter Mud Nationals in Jacksonville, Texas, and had to share them with you. Triple Threat Offroad built three radical two-seater machines, which consist of two RZR XP 1000s and Polaris’ new General 1000. We found them in MSA Wheels’ tent for spectators to check out and convinced Triple Threat to let us capture their beauty with our camera lens. We later found Brent Griffith of Bulletproof Specialties, who went the route of building a massive RZR XP 1000 4. His red-and-white masterpiece was one of the taller machines at the event, and he informed us it once towered even more than where it sits now. Every time we travel to a High Lifter Mud Nationals event we find great project machines where the builders poured their heart and soul into creating a work of art. These four certainly qualify.
