READER’S RIDES: MODIFIED YAMAHA BLASTER RESTORATION

A unique build take on the Yamaha Blaster that has the comment section buzzing

Something about a fresh rebuild with all new components makes it hard to look away.

READER’S RIDES: MODIFIED YAMAHA BLASTER RESTORATION

Richard had a vision of what he wanted and not only went after it but nailed this beautiful Blaster resto/mod. It happened to be out of necessity since Yamaha quit making this quad in 2006. Richard wanted a brand new Blaster so this was the only way. Plus he could do it with all the components that he saw fit.

The rear swingarm was the most custom thing about the build which ended up being 3″ longer than stock. Richard told denniskirk.com that the swingarm is one piece and has a torsion chain adjuster for the chain tension adjustment.

Less of a Frankenstein build and more of a thoughtful idea that turned out as pretty as we’ve seen in a Blaster resto/mod.
