WOULD YOU BE AFRAID TO PURCHASE A FIRST-YEAR BAD BOY BANDIT?

DIALED IN BY WINSTON "BOSS" McKANNICK

DW FAN WRITES IN: I recently saw an online advertisement for a Bad Boy Bandit utility SxS. While I like the look of it and all the standard features it has, I am concerned about purchasing a first year model. I know how you have not been a fan of first year models because of teething problems. So, my question is: What do you think of this “Bandit” and do you think it is safe to purchase one without waiting a year or two for owners to sort out any teething problems? – Willard Taylor, Murphy, TN.

OUR PRO ANSWER: Normally I am with you on being leery of a “new” model and its “teething” problems. However in this case, the “Bandit” isn’t exactly a “new” model. There is a great deal of tried and true parts from HiSun in this machine. So, with many years of historical parts being installed on this Bad Boy Bandit, the likelihood of failure is reduced greatly. Now can there be assembly flaws putting together this new model? Sure! But it isn’t like a completely new model with most parts being produced only for this model.
