BUYING A USED SIDE-BY-SIDE? 2020 BUYER’S GUIDE PART 1: ARCTIC CAT TO KAWASAKI

Get the summary and specs on every model in one place.

2020 was an exciting year for the UTV world! There were big changes on the sport side, with Honda stepping up with a pair of two-seat Talon models. The 2020 Talon X is trail biased, and the longer-travel, wider Talon R is more pure sport. A pair of Talon X-based four-seaters were launched as 2020 models as well.

Kawasaki introduced the all-new Teryx KRX 1000. Even though it has long travel and a track that matches the Talon R track width of 68 inches,  the KRX is a true trail and rock weapon. Yamaha had even more trail-ready XT-R versions of its popular sport and recreational models, too.

Much like today, the big guys in the sport ranks were Can-Am and Polaris. Can-Am’s 2020 X3 line had several RR models that have a whopping 195 horsepower and new suspension settings. Can-Am also continued to expand and improve the Maverick Sport line. Polaris had the new RZR XP Pro In two- and four-seat versions.

There was plenty of news on the rec/utility side as well. Can-Am and Polaris both had new and completely redesigned models that are exciting, as well as available in an amazing array of versions and trim levels. Both brands released units with full cabs, heat, air conditioning, power side windows and windshield wipers and washers! No matter what sort of UTV you desire, there is a perfect used side-by-side out there for you. So check out our republished 2020 Side-By-Side Buyer’s Guide for our base impressions and specs from the 2020 model year.
