LETTERS: ELSINORE GP ON 3 WHEELS

ELSINORE GP ON 3 WHEELS

Dear Dirt Wheels,

This picture captures me participating in the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix in 2018, an event we actively raced in from 2017 to 2019. Unfortunately, the Grand Prix did not take place in 2020 due to the impact of COVID-19. There have been reports of increasing residential development in the area, raising doubts about the event’s future. In the specific Three-Wheeler Four-Stroke class of 2018, there were only a handful of participants, including my friend Brent. Unfortunately, Brent’s wheel ended up falling off during the race, and I was uncertain about my own placement. However, after checking the results, I was thrilled to discover that I had actually emerged as the winner. The following year, in 2019, I repeated this victory. As a result, I proudly display the trophies in my home, earning the title of the perpetual three-wheeler four-stroke Elsinore champion.

Andrew,

Late congrats on the win at such a prestigious race! Did you see our 3-wheeler coverage at Elsinore in 2017? Check it out with this link. We’re glad to see Elsinore survived the scamdemic and had a good run in 2023. And good on them for allowing three-wheelers and vintage bike classes. We’ve got it marked on our calendar for November 2024, so we hope to see you back out there. We might even show up to race with ya! – Dirt Wheels
