ON THE PODIUM: WORCS ROUND 4 PRO RACING VIDEO

BRUTALITY AT BLYTHE!

The 2023 WORCS season nears the halfway point of the season as off-road ATV racers converged at Shorty’s Sports Park in Blythe California. The main event pro race was a 2-hour test of endurance as tough off-camber pro sections and the quickly deteriorating sandy racecourse took it’s toll on the pack. Action at the front of the pack remained tight for the first hour as Yamaha YFZ450R rider Travis Damon and Honda riders, Beau Baron and Braxton Grosse battled for the lead position.

Pro-Am Yamaha rider Rylan Steadman navigates a natural terrain pro section and went on to own third place.

Unfortunately, Damon was out front when his motor let go on the 11th of 15 laps. He salvaged a 6th place finish, which keeps him in the points championship race. From there, it was a sprint to the finish as experience and endurance led Beau Baron to his 3rd win of the season. Braxton Grosse continues his rookie pro season with a second place finish and his fourth trip in a row to the pro podium. Auston Baxter finished in third for his first podium finish of the season, and also gets the sportsmanship award for helping Baron complete a motor swap on his Honda the day before.

The WORCS women’s pro class has seen solid growth for the 2023 season with some intense battles and new faces on the pro podium.
