TUSK UTV CARGO BOX
Excitement comes in many forms in our industry, whether we are rubbing tires on the track, dodging trees on the trail or finding the best cargo containment systems around. That’s right, we get excited over storage solutions! We only feel comfortable on long UTV adventures when we carry the proper spares to fix the machine in a pinch.
It can get tricky finding ways to store what we feel is needed. We found a Tusk UTV cargo box from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC that we felt would fit our needs, and ordered one up for our Polaris RZR XP Turbo S four-seater.
WELL-BUILT
Tusk is Rocky Mountain’s house brand that offers a vast assortment of off-roading parts for ATVs, dirt bikes, and UTVs. Generally, we are big fans of their products. They are economical, and generally very well-built. The Tusk UTV cargo box speaks to the quality of its products.
The box is made from durable aluminum that is 1/10th of an inch thick, with a lid that is gas-strut-assisted. Tusk installs a gasket on the lid and box to keep dust out and provide a water-resistant seal when closed. A push-button opening and locking mechanism help keep your important tools safe, and bungee rails inside help secure them. A foam liner adds protection from the abuse that your equipment is subjected to during rough driving.
Installation takes roughly 30–45 minutes from start to finish unless some modification is required. The instructions are very clear, easy to understand, and minimal tools are needed to get the job done. We had to utilize a round file to enlarge one mounting hole to secure the box since the RZR’s stock bed mounting hole was misaligned from the factory.

CONTAIN YOURSELF
We have nothing but good things to say about the Tusk UTV cargo box. It fits and fills in the cargo bed. The box measures 22 x 22 x 14.5 (length/width/height) inches, which offers a healthy amount of space to pack tools, spare belts, and even a cooler bag.
Installation is straightforward, and the cargo box is durable and well-manufactured. The box sells for $379.75 on www.rockymountainatvmc.com and fits 2014–2019 Polaris RZRs. They also offer bungee rails that mount to the top of the lid for an additional $29.99 (part number 184992). You can give them a call at (800) 336-5437 to order.
