CHAMP 2024 ROUNDS 1&2
Andrew Carlson held off defending Pro SxS champ Kyle Chaney for the win on Saturday.

Championship Off-Road launched into its 2024 season at Dirt City Motorplex in Lena, Wisconsin, and the Pro UTV classes provided great racing on Saturday and Sunday, according to Champ. In Pro SxS (formerly Pro Turbos) Andrew Carlson, who had two 2023 wins and a top-five season, came out swinging in 2024. He and defending champ Kyle Chaney battled as they pulled away from the field, and Carlson held off Chaney at the finish line and won by less than a second. CJ Greaves rounded out the Pro SxS podium in his Polaris.

CHAMP 2024 ROUNDS 1&2
Defending Pro Stock champ CJ Greaves started his season with a Pro SxS podium on Saturday and a fifth on Sunday.

In Pro Stocks, defending champ CJ Greaves jumped out to an early lead ahead of Jeb Bootle and the 15-car field and led for two laps before breaking. Bootle took the lead, but Owen VanEpren, defending MAO Pro Stock champion, slipped underneath Jeb in a 180-turn and took the win. Colin Kernz came on strong in later laps to take over second, and Jake Kosmecki got Bootle to claim the last podium spot.

CHAMP 2024 ROUNDS 1&2
Kyle Chaney ran up front all weekend and leads Pro SxS points after 2-1 finishes.

On Sunday, Kainan Baker grabbed the Pro SxS lead but broke 100 yards from the checkered flag. He held off Carlson and Chaney until he broke, and the three were only a second apart. Carlson even took the lead on Lap 11, but then he broke and Kyle Chaney took over second. When Baker lost power, Chaney zipped by for the lead and win, and Kainan was able to coast across the finish for second. Jeb Bootle rounded out Sunday’s Pro SxS podium.

CHAMP 2024 ROUNDS 1&2
Jeb Bootle leads the Pro Stock charge on Sunday and held on for the win and a 6-1 weekend.

Bootle faded to sixth in Saturday’s Pro Stock main, and he shot to the front on Sunday and stayed on inside lines to lead wire-to-wire. Owen VanEpren had to battle Colin Kernz over second, which let Bootle get away, and VanEpren held of Kernz at the line by less than a second. With a 1-2 on the weekend, VanEpren took control of Pro Stock points, and Chaney controls Pro SxS points with a 2-1 weekend.
