CFMOTO OPENS NEW HEADQUARTERS IN MINNESOTA

During our visit to the newly established CFMOTO USA headquarters in Plymouth, Minnesota, we noticed that the paint on the walls hadn’t even dried yet, but work was already underway. This location is where all motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs will be designed and engineered for the North American market.

We were given a tour of the new CFMOTO Design Studio, which houses a clay mill that will take CFMOTO’s vehicles from initial sketches to three-dimensional clay models. These models are then scanned into CAD data to be used by the designers and engineers. The facility also features a large shop area where engineers fabricate and test new products.

CFMOTO has placed its service and warranty call center in the same building between the design and engineering teams. This is a massive advantage for CFMOTO, allowing them to work through any warranty issues with customers more efficiently.

The building is over 100,000 square feet, including a 72,000-square-foot warehouse that will house all parts and accessories manufactured in Minnesota. The company is already discussing further expansion, but the facility will now employ up to 140 individuals.
