2024 POLARIS RZR XP1000 & RZR XP4 1000
Polaris redesigned the RZR XP1000 line up for 2024 with a focus on rider comfort, strength and consumer confidence. We should highlight that the engine is also all new, its horsepower number has been increased from 110 to 114 and the transmission gearing has been lowered slightly. Those changes are meant to provided the same instant acceleration and thrilling ride as before even though the vehicle’s weight has increased by 165-pounds. That weight gain is a product of a 25-percent stronger chassis, stronger axles, drivelines, more aggressive tires, and full doors.
As with other RZR’s, three trim levels will be available: Sport, Premium and Ultimate.
All packages will receive the for mentioned up grades plus a lower seat height, a resigned body for better forward visibility, a new dash and tool less cargo tray/ engine cover.

CHASSIS SPECS
The foot print will remain the same as older XP’s giving this machine a 64-inch wide stance and 90-inch wheelbase. For those with space limits in their garage or trailer, you will be happy to note the 2024 XP1000 still measures right at 10-feet long for the two seater and 12-feet for the family wagon.
More improvements on the new XP platform include a front bumper, a tow hook that doubles as a tie down points, higher winch mounting platform, a full skid plate, improved CVT cooling. Inside the cockpit, there is a new glove box in front of the driver and the passenger grab handle is removable plus it doubles as a lug wrench. You read that right, this is the first UTV that comes with a lug wrench to help you change a flat tire. It’s about time.
In the suspension department, you will find the same dual A-arm front set up and rear trailing arm set up as before. Walker Evans needle valve shocks will provide 16-clicks of compression adjustment. Up front, 16-inches of travel is found using 2-inch shock bodies and 18 inches of travel is provided out back from the 2.5 inch Walker Evans shocks.
While we don’t have pricing on the four seaters yet, we do know the lower seat height up front will give the rear passengers the stadium seating effect. Under the cabin, Polaris tells us there is now a full skid plate. The older models didn’t have that second layer of protection under certain areas of the passenger floorboards.
